VW California Ocean, matte grey with black pop-top roof, seen from above
A nurse's van · 26 vinyl slots · one lifetime

My office has
a license plate.

I've spent 20 years driving to patients. This VW California is the next chapter: clinic on wheels at dawn, film set and writing desk the rest of the day, all over southern France and Europe. I'm funding it by selling the bodywork. Your logo goes on, and it never comes off.

One day, logged

This is not a parked billboard.

Most sponsored vehicles sit in traffic. This one has a job. Twelve days a month it runs a full home-care round on the Bassin d'Arcachon. The rest of the time it carries a camera, a laptop, and a nurse who ships apps. Here's a Tuesday.

The inventory

A floor, a ceiling, and an auction in between.

Matte grey paint, black roof: a factory-made background for vinyl. No lights, no side glass, no windshield. The roof and the rear window, though, turned out to be too good to keep. Sizes are cut to the flat metal below the belt line of a van measuring 5 173 × 1 941 × 1 972 mm (VW's own figures), measured, not guessed. Printed, die-cut, laminated, installed by a pro. It stays until the van does.

The vision

Sold out looks like this.

Same van, same Bassin, golden hour. Every slot taken: the sliding doors carrying the XLs, the hood wearing its one-of-one, the roof owning the drone frame, the rear window in one-way perforated film reading loud from three cars back. This is what your logo joins.

Live tracker

Your logo doesn't sleep much.

Sponsors get the tracker link. Street, speed, odometer, in real time. At 6 a.m. it's on a gravel driveway on the Bassin. On a Friday night it's somewhere on the A63 with a drone in the trunk. You'll know exactly where your money is parked.

The money, itemized

A floor, a ceiling, both itemized.

Because sponsorship money is taxable income, and nobody funding a vehicle on the internet ever tells you that. The French state takes roughly a third before a wheel turns. So the plan has a floor and a ceiling, both itemized.

The floor puts a California Beach Camper on the road: base spec, pop-top, same bodywork, same rounds, same cameras. Every fixed slot activates the day it's paid, vinyl on, filmed. The ceiling is the full Ocean build, the Vespa for narrow rounds, and a year of diesel: that's what the auctions climb toward. Both numbers come straight from the Volkswagen configurator.

The driver

Hey, I'm Steve.

Home-care nurse for 20 years. Five apps shipped this year. I build tools for the healthcare workers tech forgot, I write about it, and I'm turning the road between my patients and my ideas into a YouTube channel. The van is where all of it happens.

I won't promise you impressions or ROI. Here's what I can promise:

01A die-cut vinyl of your logo, professionally installed, on a van that works for a living.
02It appears in every video, every photo, every trip. No cropping you out.
03Your slot on this page, linked to your site, for as long as the page exists.
04The tracker link. Check on your investment at 3 a.m. if you want.

Not ready to claim? Write.

Questions on a slot, a co-branding idea, a weird placement I haven't thought of, or you just want the media kit before deciding. I answer between two patients, usually the same day.

Questions

Asked before you ask.

Is this serious?+
Completely. The configurator receipt is real, the code is verifiable, the vinyl will be real, and the van will do real 5:50 a.m. starts. The only joke here is that bodywork this visible usually drives around blank.
Why a 100k van and not a used hatchback?+
Because it's not just transport. It's my daily vehicle, my mobile office, my film set and occasionally my bedroom on shoot weekends. One machine replacing three rents. A used hatchback can't sleep two people in the Pyrenees and doesn't look like anything on camera.
How long does my logo stay?+
Until the van's last day. No annual renewal, no season two, no peel-off date. A California routinely passes 300 000 km. Divide your slot price by that.
Who can sponsor?+
Ideally: dev tools, AI products, health tech, creator tools, brands my audience actually uses. Not: gambling, tobacco, miracle supplements, or anything I couldn't defend to a patient or explain to my son. I keep final say on the bodywork.
What if the goal isn't reached?+
Fixed slots don't wait for anything: paid, installed, filmed, done, whatever the total ends up being. If the 110 000 € floor isn't reached within twelve months, everyone is refunded in full and the auctions never settle. Past the floor, every auction euro upgrades the van and funds the tour.
What if it gets damaged?+
Fully insured. Your visual gets reprinted and reinstalled at no cost to you. Same slot, same size.
Can I update my artwork?+
Twice a year, included. Rebrands happen. Your placement never changes though; position is what you paid for.
How do I pay?+
Three ways, full amount up front: card or SEPA through Stripe, classic bank transfer, or Bitcoin over Lightning to stevoshi@strike.me. Whatever the rail, the invoice is issued in euros with 20 % VAT (reclaimable if you're a business), and you get a signed contract plus a placement certificate within 48 hours.
Last call

One van. One life. Zero reruns.

The first logo picks its spot. The bodywork fills once and never resets. When it's full, the only way onto this van is to buy the whole van, and it's not for sale.
